Hi Nancy,

Thanks to you and your group for readjusting your busy schedule and making today's luncheon happen today.  I was so happy to be able to work another day and see all of you again.  I will pass on your condolences to Cheryl and her family and give her your card.  I also wanted to say thank you so very much for the lovely presentation, card and of course the beautiful "bling bling" pin today.  I was really touched and surprised!  It really meant a lot to  to me.  I feel very honoured and I may just look into the groups out my way and perhaps look into pursuing a membership.  I may just be able to talk Cheryl into it as well.  We see what a difference you all make and really value your dedication to our organization.  I have really enjoyed working with you and your entire group.

The Pacific Lions Club has made such a huge  difference to the lives of our seniors. I am especially proud of what we have done in making this such a large and much enjoyed opportunity for our residents. We really have turned it into a wonderful program that is enjoyed by so many!   Our Chinese elders truly look forward to the dim sum lunch that you provide for them!   They also love having members of your group and affiliate members come to bring them to the Sunroom, serve the delicious food to them and visit with them!  Many of our residents have known you for such a long time.   As some of you have been visiting our facility for seventeen years now, I'm sure you realize how difficult it was for me to leave and pursue an alternate option closer to home.  After seventeen years of working at St. Vincent 's Langara, leaving my position was one of the most difficult decisions I have had to make.  I still struggle with whether it was the right decision to make.  I admire the commitment you all have to our to one another and to our residents and I appreciate all that you do to make their lives more meaningful.

 Sincerely,
Sherry Lecian
